WHERE TO GO
The area all around Oxenleaze is one of the most varied in the South West and includes the wild, heather covered moorland of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills.
Home to an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking scenery, it is the only
area in England (the other being Scotland) where herds of shy, red deer
live in the wild. Equally cherished, native Exmoor ponies will often be
seen alongside footpaths and bridleways throughout the National Park,
which is carefully protected to preserve their habitat.
The rocky cliffs and bays of North Devon contrast with seaside resorts and wide sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. There are also several National Trust properties, gardens & castles, historic villages and thatched cottages where a real clotted cream tea makes the perfect end to your day's exploring.

Taunton is only 25 minutes away and has all amenities including shops, cinemas, theatre, golf courses, museum, cricket ground and racecourse, etc.
